I have looked at 911tabs and other guitar tabs websites, but i am a beginner and so what they give me is confusing. What i am looking for is simply “g chord, d chord, and Am chord are played here” – for example.
I hope i am making sense, i just want clear and simple guitar chords and when they are played, if that is possible
The tab looks confusing because it is showing you how to fingerpick / plectrum-pick the song. That tab is good, it’s detailed. Definitely check out the 1st link below for a short lesson on how to read tabs. If you learn, then you can expand your skills.
Looking at a tab for this song (2nd link) I can tell that the chords for the picking part are: C – G/B – F, repeat. This is by looking at the bass notes… you really should read the 1st link, a lesson on how to read tabs.
The tab is also really beneficial in that it tells you the exact chord fingering that you need to use. For example, there is more than one way of playing a C. Which one are you supposed to use? A tab can show you.
Prechorus: Am – Weird G – F – Weird G – Am – Weird G – F
Chorus: C – G/B – Am – F
Bridge: C – G/B – Am – F
